Day-to-Day Expedition
Day 1 – From Cuiabá Airport to the Essence of the Pantanal
Upon arrival at Cuiabá Airport in the morning, our guide will be waiting to start the adventure toward the Northern Pantanal.
We travel to Poconé, the gateway to the world’s largest wetland plain, and begin crossing the iconic Transpantaneira—a scenic road teeming with life, where caimans, capybaras, and tropical birds can be seen around every bend. Strategic stops for photography and wildlife observation are included.
Arrival at the Pantanal farm just before lunch. After some rest, we take a forest walk along trails full of sounds and wildlife.
In the evening, we embark on a night safari, ideal for observing crepuscular and nocturnal species: margays, giant anteaters, owls, potoos, and, if lucky, the majestic puma.
Dinner and overnight at the farm.
Day 2 – Full Immersion in the Pantanal
A full day dedicated to nature in a 10,000-hectare private reserve. Activities include:
Land safaris
Forest walks
Night expeditions
Wildlife observation at different times of day
The tranquility of the plains blends with the thrill of sightings in one of the richest ecosystems on Earth.

Day 3 – From the Pantanal Farm to Porto Jofre
After breakfast and check-out, we head to Porto Jofre at the end of the Transpantaneira. Along the way, we make stops for photos and wildlife observation, taking advantage of the unpredictability and richness of Pantanal fauna.
In Porto Jofre, we check in at the riverside lodge on the Cuiabá River, the perfect setting for the next stage of the expedition.
After lunch and rest, we embark on the first river safari, navigating the surrounding rivers in search of the Pantanal’s star: the jaguar.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Days 4, 5 & 6 – The Kingdom of Jaguars
Three days dedicated to wildlife observation along the Cuiabá River and the Encontro das Águas State Park—the area with the highest jaguar density in the world.
We navigate at dawn and dusk, when the Pantanal reveals its most magical light. Between photo opportunities and wildlife sightings, you may observe:
Giant otters
Jaguars
Caimans
Tropical birds
Macaws
Toucans
And, of course, jaguars in action
