Accommodations
Pousada Piuval
Located on a 7,000+ hectare property, Piuval is renowned for its open fields, bays, and extensive forested areas—classic habitat for giant anteaters, marsh deer, macaws, and rheas. The lodge offers fully equipped rooms, air conditioning, common areas, and extensive infrastructure for safaris and horseback riding.
Pousada Pouso Alegre
Situated amid 10,000 hectares of preserved nature, Pouso Alegre is one of the best locations in the Pantanal for land-based wildlife viewing: tapirs, peccaries, anteaters, tayras, and one of the highest concentrations of birds in the region. The rooms are comfortable, with a rustic Pantanal atmosphere, and meals are homemade.
